Atomic definition

An atom is the smallest particle still characterizing a chemical element. We all know atoms are made up of protons and neutrons in the nucleus and a cloud of electrons around it. So what if we have a group of neutrons? I'd think this would give us a neutral atom... so no bonding would be possible, but you could possibly use them instead of a vacuum as insulators. Something kind of like an neutron wall. OR what if we could use electrons in the center instead of protons? Being much less massive the atoms would become super-light but still maintain the ability to bond with normal atoms. This would effectively reduce the mass of the total material by enormous amounts without losing the ability for it to stay together.

So I'm workin on 2 labs for physics right now and I've got a 5 page paper due tomorrow in sociology. Not fun.

4th Dimension & an Ion Engine

1. In order to fully encapsulate a 3d world we would need a 4 dimensional infrastructure.

2. Currently ion engines are very efficient but provide very little thrust. Instead of ionizing small amounts of gas, you could ionize a liquid (not sure which liquids are easy to ionize) or a highly pressurized gas (problem with this is that u need to compress it somehow).

Cleared out almost all my posts so now my blog is nice and uncluttered. This is to redesignate this: now used for venting my half-baked ideas :p. I know some may make no sense or just be wrong, but this is just my random ramblings and no guarantee is made of coherency.
